The plan detailed strategies for: (1) data retention involving multiple legacy EHR’s, (2) conversion of essential data into MEDITECH EXPANSE, (3) a viable migration timeline for hospitals and clinics, (4) build governance, (5) interfaces, (6) business intelligence, (7) testing strategies, (8) enterprise business intelligence, (9) enterprise-wide training, (10) pre-live integrity validation, (11) go-live plan and support, and (12) post-live integrity validation and optimization.

Offering IT management, disaster recovery, and a 99.999% uptime, off-site hosted data centers were identified as the superior choice. After evaluating multiple off-site solution providers, CloudWave was selected to host the client’s Expanse servers.
